:new: Thanks for having a look, guys, I appreciate the feedback! I've set this strip back to the original (except for a small dialogue tweak in panel 3) on the official site.

Hey guys. I just had a consultation with Brad Guigar, one of the authors of How to Make Webcomics, the Webcomics Handbook, owner of webcomics.com and publisher of Evil Inc. While the consultation wasn't quite what I had expected or hoped for (when is it ever?) I feel like a lot of the information he gave me was good and if you can afford it, I would recommend his consulting service (for webcomic publishers).

His biggest criticism of my work so far is that he felt like the writing didn't quite connect for him. He said he saw where it was going, but that it got to "clever" and then stopped short of reaching "funny". With that in mind, I made a couple small changes to my most recent comic. You can see the updated version on the Woohooligan site. I've left the copy on DeviantArt as it was for comparison:

At the Crossroads by woohooligan

I'm curious to know what you guys think of the changes. Thanks!

Oh, and for the change to this one?  I liked the original better.  More pensive.  Quirkier.  Less forced.  I truly think you know the heart of your comic.  Just stay true to it.
