Ever heard Peter Schilling's cover of Space Oddity (Major Tom)?
4, 3, 2, 1
Earth below us,
drifting falling,
floating waitless,
calling calling home
It's a very cool, trippy cover, I love it... and recently covered again using his lyrics by a band called Shiny Toy Guns, another awesome cover (and a really cool band too).
Anyway, it's become kind of a mantra, along with Tracy Chapman's Revolution... yes finally the tables are starting to turn, talkin' about a revolution... yes finally the tables are starting to turn, talkin' about a revolution...
What's it mean? The Autelligent Laboratories project, now not quite one month old yet is taking off like mad! Let me put this in perspective. I've got a website where I market comic strips, and I've worked pretty hard to make it the best site I could make it and today it averages somewhere in the neighborhood of maybe 3-4 unique visitors per day after being online for a year or so. The AutLabs site is not quite 30 days old and is averaging about 12 unique visitors per day. That means growth on AutLabs is roughly 20,000% of the growth on my cartoon site.
This means the AutLabs mission of creating meaningful jobs for people with Autism and Asperger Syndrome is really important to people. And they're showing it by getting involved! They're subscribing to the newsletter, they're writing blogs and they're showing their support on Twitter. Awesome! Just awe inspiring to see people getting motivated to make the world a better place. Check it out at
www.autlabs.com.
One last note, there's less than 3 days remaining in the AutLabs logo contest.
