Yes, yes I did. I hope though that, as with my other meme comics, I managed to make this joke somewhat original despite the meme. :fingerscrossed: If you're scratching your head at what this is about, here's the Know Your Meme article about the "arrow to the knee" meme.

This comic also has an alternative ending, which I'm sure you're dying to see. :eager: You can check it out when you vote for Woohooligan on Top Web Comics!

It's always the Whiterun guards that have the problem with arrows to the knee.

According to the articles I've read it's every guard in the game and that's the reason why the meme became such a big thing... Someone else said further up in the comments here that it was only a Solitude guard that delivers the line.

I've heard Stormcloak soldiers utter that line a couple times(including a female one) but it's always the Whiterun guards depicted in the memes, probably due to White run being the central hub of the game where every player seams to hang around when not adventuring, though this is purely speculation.

Well I'm not taking inventory of all the iterations of the meme, I just looked it up for the comic.

I like the artwork! For some reason, the eyes of the guard in the 2nd panel remind of Looney Toons. . .

Thanks, PJ! :highfive:

Yeah, I do work at trying to make my comics "cartoony". There are a few exceptions, but that's mostly what I shoot for.

I like it. Too many people aim for making their cartton characters look realistic. If you're making a comic strip, you might as well make it carttony. Otherwise making characters break the laws of physics seems really misplaced.

Heh... I have this image in my head of a photo-realistic coyote running out over the edge of a cliff and hanging in mid-air until he notices he's not touching the ground. I think you're right.
